Europe: 

  In Europe, shoe sizes are similar to what you would find in the United States. The main difference is that European sizes are measured in centimeters instead of inches. For women's shoes, a size 37 corresponds to a U.S. size 6.5, and each increment from there is equal to a half-size difference in the U.S. For men's shoes, a size 40 corresponds to a U.S. size 7, and each increment from there is equal to a whole-size difference in the U.S. Children's shoes generally follow the same pattern as women's shoes; however, some brands also offer children's shoes in youth sizes (toddler through grade school). In this case, a size 32 would be equivalent to a U.S toddler size 4, and each increment from there would be equal to a half-size difference in the U.S. 

Australia / New Zealand:

  Shoe sizes in Australia and New Zealand are also similar to what you would find in the United States; however, they are measured in centimeters instead of inches just like Europe! For women's shoes, a size 37 corresponds to a U.S. size 6 or 6.5; for men's shoes, a size 40 corresponds to a U S size 7, and for children's shoes depending on whether they follow the European or UK sizing system—a size 32 can correspond to either a US toddler 4 or big kids' 3 so be sure to check the specific brand's sizing chart before making your purchase! And just like Europe and America shoe sizes tend to vary slightly between brands, so it never hurts to try on a few pairs before making your final decision. 

UK / Ireland:

  In the UK standardized shoe sizes were introduced way back in 1894 and haven't changed much since, Shoe shops will usually stock both men's and women's British shoe size but women's sizes will typically be listed first (i .e .4-8) followed by men 's (i .e .7-11). British shoe sizes usually start at around 2 for infants (the average newborn foot is about 4 inches/10 cm long), and continue going up from there in half inch/12 mm increments until reaching 13 for adult men' s feet . In terms of converting UK shoe sizes into U . S . shoe sizes , it gets complicated because there 's no direct conversion, however , most brands will list both UK and US sizing equivalences on their website or on their product page .
